Not trying to show any worry or even any concern that he had been bracing him for the "are you stupid" or "no way" ー ( when you live and have kashuu as your partner, one does ready themselves for a firm and quick "no" ) ー he's glad to hear the response. ]
Of course, yes, he probably is and well accustomed to this holiday more than us so it's understandable. [ It sounds nice but what he's more happy about are the other words as he looks up at him. ] Yes, that sounds nice, really, it does. But.. you should take another bite of this or there won't be anything else left.
[ Since Yamato is thinking about digging into it. ]
no subject
Ah? Okay, here.
[Reaching over he steals the spoon for one more bite, offering it back to Yamato once he has. The other definitely has a bigger appetite than Horikawa anyway, so he gives a thoughtful hum instead.]
Well, we may not be very familiar with it right now, but it could be nice to celebrate it somehow. Is there anything you'd like to do Yasukun?
[As long as it's being responsible and he's not gonna suggest drinking and Actual dropping of proprieties it's fine. It's fine.]

I've never really given it much thought but at the Arcade.. have you looked at those machines? They seem to be rather fun from what I've seen others do at them, would you want to try that out?
[ A question presented to the Mer that only he can confirm. From Yamato's point of view, he thinks that spending time in the Arcade wouldn't be bad. They'd be around their God but also, they'll be with each other. It could also be a kind gesture towards their God as well. ]
How does that sound unless you have something else in mind?
no subject
[They spent how long in the arcade during the mountain, and yet neither of them had thought to thoroughly investigate huh? Nevertheless Horikawa seems pleased at the prospect. It makes sense to want to know what's there anyway, and he has to admit that some of the bright lights and vibrant colors (though perhaps faded compared to modern machines) are pretty appealing. There's a glance left, and right, walking down the street before he indicates a shop to their left that appears to be closed, looking back down to Yamato expectantly.]
How about over there? It doesn't look like it'd bother anybody.
[The card, he means; there aren't too many people in Bavan who seem pleased at the prospect of their home or workplace being used as the portal to a God's domain. (Which is, Horikawa reasons, only because they must not know enough about the Fourth.) That does make this location pretty ideal though, and just to be polite:]
Do you want to finish the ice cream first?
[God knows Yamato could probably down the rest in two bites.]
no subject
I already did.
[ There's a smile on his features as he starts making his way towards the door, his tails dragging against the ground and a hand raises to point at where Horikawa can swipe. ] Do you have your card on you? I seem to have left mine at home. [ It is shiny so he couldn't help but sit it nicely in his nest. ] I wonder.. [ Staring at the bowl, is it one of those bowls that can be eaten? He is contemplating it, he is still kind of hungry but he turns his head to make sure that Horikawa is walking towards the door. ]
Finally we can learn of those things in here.
no subject
Hold onto that, we can set it in when we go inside.
[He guesses, indicating the bowl before he closes the last of the distance between themselves and the door, swiping his card and moving to open it. Except.... It doesn't... open...
Horikawa looks at it, puzzled for a moment, and remembers the earlier mishaps from last month.]
Ah, sorry, I guess we need another try?
no subject
Is there something wrong? [ Moving closer with curious eyes, he blinks down at the card before glancing up at Horikawa. ] Would you want me to try? [ Though there shouldn't be a second try at all, normally one swipe is all it takes in order to bring the door to open. ]
I'm sure this is no type of test.
no subject
[It's really odd that this would continue, but Horikawa hands over the card without a fuss, stepping out of the way rather quickly. He raises a brow at that last comment though, giving a nod of assent as he considers it.]
I don't think it would be, something so trivial, but it's kind of odd, huh?
[But in any case, hopefully it opens up on the next try. Listen, they have plans here?]
no subject
... It is.. odd..
[ He's dumbfounded as well but maybe one more swipe will do the trick if Horikawa takes the card from his hand. ] Did we do something wrong..?
no subject
[Come on, now he's worried. That uncertain tone in his voice is nothing pleasant, even as he takes the card back with some hesitance. He looks to Yamato one last time before swiping the card again, (because, you know, what else are they going to do to fix this mysterious problem in their magic,) and with it finally seems to click. In an instant the door is opened to reveal the arcade that is becoming so increasingly familiar ー his shoulders slacken somewhat, and the relief that runs through Horikawa is probably plainly visible.]
Ah, there it is..! That was strange, don't you think so Yasusada-kun? Mm, I wonder why...
no subject
Yes.. It is very odd.. [ Had they done something? Slowly removing his talons away from the door as he looks forward, peeking inside to make sure that the gateway is to their destination. ] At least, it still takes us to the right place.. but then why did it..
[ He's got to think.. ]
