[THERE ARE HUMANS HERE YASUKUN... What if they get scared and hike up the price for these clothes? They cannot afford these kinds of mistakes so an apologetic smile is offered up with the warning, before he decides to turn in what may not be the best judgement he could make. Waving an arm to catch an employee's attention, he waits until they've just (cautiously) approached into talk-range before checking with them.]
Excuse me, do you have change rooms here? [A quick glance back to Yamato as an afterthought, though.] Are you sure you don't want to look at anything else?
no subject
But. [ While someone finally braved to come to the two monsters. ] You're going to drown one of these workers one day, right? [ Maybe Yamato should shut his mouth because the worker is shaking.. how scary. But they are happy to help, hopefully that makes them live longer as they point at the skirts in Yamato's hands. ]
NPC: If your girlfriend wants to try out any clothes, all she has to do is go through these double doors.
[ Yamato isn't paying attention to the humans words as he looks curiously at Horikawa's pants. ] Should I also.. look for pants? ..I'm only ever going to wear my hakama.
no subject
[HIS JAW LITERALLY DROPS @GOD WHY IS YAMATO LIKE THIS? He waves his hands in a frantic motion that clearly indicates that No? He does not intend to drown any of these employees? (It may happen as a coincidence but that's a different matter altogether!?) He bows quickly out of habit to the employee rushing something or another of an apology before turning to Yamato once more.] Jeez, Yasusada-kun, you can't just say something like that! It's not the case at all, you know.
[He, too, was too distracted by Yamato being his usual menace self to catch the girlfriend comment, so today they're a couple it seems.]
Ah, also, thank you. I'll keep that in mind! [Towards the staff member. Since apparently, Yamato's not yet done with what he has.] Well, it could be good to have them for when we do laundry; you can't wear the same dirty clothes forever?
no subject
[ Listen, he can't just give up his beloved outfit. ] Do you think there's other clothes I should try on here then? [ Since Horikawa sounds so worried about the whole entire deal. ] I guess I should get more clothes then.. just to have variety but what if I don't end up wearing them?
no subject
Until we figure out what you do and don't like, we should probably wait. I'm sure there are clothes you would be interested in at other stores too, so we mustn't pick anything that you don't think you'll like to wear!
[And sure, Horikawa said variety, but the last comment makes him draw his brows together a bit uncertainly.]
It's also probably best if we only get what you think will be good. I'm sure that if you like these clothes, or find them useful, then they'll see some use, so..
no subject
Shutting the door behind him, he wonders what Horikawa will do so opening it again and peeking his head out. ] May I ask what you're going to do, it feels rude to leave you out here. There's small rooms in here that I can change into.. so I wonder if you're allowed in here.
[ But then again, Yamato doesn't know how these rules work. ] Personally, I think it would be fine?
no subject
If you have any trouble with the clothes though, that would be fine. Some of them will have zippers or buttons, so if you're having troubles then I'd be happy to help! [And he's good at that, too! In the meantime, he'll sit himself in one of the waiting chairs while he waits for Yamato to disappear back inside.]
no subject
[ As he disappears back behind the closed doors, he looks as the skirts that were chosen for him and finds a room where he can change. There's many of them with all sorts of humans and even people like him who are trying to get on various things. Luckily he looks like a girl so he has a free pass. It doesn't take him long to undo his hakama so that he can put on one of them.
The first one that Horikawa had found, it has such a nice fabric and he can't help but tilt his head in admiration as he begins to take his time. But there is some gossip in the changing room next to him. ]
How interesting..
no subject
[And so, when Yamato heads back in to change, Horikawa leans back in his seat a little. Not so much that he comes off sloppy rather than elegant, but he'll probably be waiting here for Yamato for a while now that he's started changing, and when the thought occurs he takes a few moments to dig into one of his pockets. Bringing the cigarette to his lips and lighting it, a long moment passes before he turns his attention again.
Maybe there's some magazines or something out here for him to read. It'd be good to know what's currently in fashion here if they're shopping for Yamato.]
no subject
Turning around so he can face the mirror in the room, the one skirt that's been chosen is just a little above his knees and he turns his hips both left and right. Searching for something that tells him it's too much or it's not him. ] Huh.. [ Placing a hand on his hips, he grabs at the fabric to pull it down just a bit but the waist ban slides down so he knows that won't do. ]
Hm..
no subject
no subject
Horikawa Kunihiro?
[ Blinking at him who's looking through a magazine and also smoking, he's not really familiar with them but it reminds him of a pipe people use to use. ] Does that.. even taste good?
no subject
Eh? Well, I guess it's just relaxing. Why?
no subject
[ But, seeing someone twirl around in an outfit for the person inspecting. Yamato does the same as the skirt flows just nicely and then softly lays against his legs. ] Do you think this suits me or does it need anything more? Should I find something better? [ Is he doing this justice? ]
no subject
It suits you! I'm glad, but I wonder... [Holding the smoke between his lips, he wanders off for a moment, reappearing with some folded up fabric in his hands to give to Yamato. If he unfolds them he'll find they're just... really long socks. They'd caught Horikawa's eye earlier, so.] The cold season is coming, so those might be more practical to wear with your outfit
no subject
[ As the other wanders off and brings back something for Yamato to put on, they are long socks and they look rather nice. Looking towards the other, he does understand that the cold weather is coming. ] I've slept outside in the cold before, do you think I really need these?
[ YES. ]
no subject
[Still...... Looks at Yamato. o_o]
Yes. You slept outside in the cold, and then you were sick for weeks after. It's much more practical to just take care of yourself to begin with!
[No more.]
no subject
Turning just a little as if modeling his leg as he looks down, curious to what this is supposed to do for him. ] You can't blame that sickness on me, wasn't it because I was changing the reason why I didn't feel good? [ No, you were actually sick. ]
Huh.. I wonder if Okita-kun would wear these..
no subject
[Honestly wtf if Yamato won't listen to his own brackets then Horikawa will just say them aloud again for him to hear, until he does? No more getting sick! No more! Again, Yamato's pretty endearing in his simplicity, so Horikawa won't argue with his act of actually putting them on at least.]
You mentioned if you should wear more, so I thought that you could dress a little more appropriately for the winter, that's all! If it's still too cold though, we could always look for another kind of skirt... [Hmm thoughtful.] Why don't you ask him, Yasusada-kun?
no subject
[ There's an intial shock once he hears that he should take his inquiries to Souji, a small 'eep' that's so low it probably wasn't caught. More so as if a sounds for a moving action while he takes a step back. ] He has more important things to do than judge my clothing. I can only wonder .. not ask.
[ Sagely nod. ]
no subject
With all that flustering though, one would think Yamato was a middle schooler with a crush, rather than a sword who's stayed by Okita's side so much, and so vitally already. For Horikawa, it's more than a bit puzzling, so he tilts his head in confusion.] Should I ask, then? Hmm... it could be useful, if you only like the same clothes that Okita-san does...
no subject
[ He hums a little at the other's curiosity and shakes his head next. ] No, you don't have to ask him! It's better like this.. It's trial and error to see if this work during hunting so.. [ Pulling up the long socks do they don't roll down his legs. ] I'll accept them because what if the success rate is even a little better, I'll have you to thank.
no subject
Did you want to try on the other outfits, or are you happy with this? It's good to get more of what you need, but it wouldn't be wise to overspend either. [Especially since like 80% of their household is still eating groceries?? Expensive, wtf.] I can wait here while you change again! Or, I wonder if it would be alright for you to wear them out?
[PLANS OF THE DAY CONSIDERED, AND ALL...]
no subject
Hm? Could I wear them out, if you choose what I should wear next I could wear it all day to see how it goes for me. [ But maybe he should wear a skirt over his hakama so he even has that. ]
How about you pick me one.. from that stack that's sitting next to you?
no subject
[After which there's a thoughtful hum to that suggestion, but he doesn't mind it so much. (In the end, Yamato will always be the final word anyway, so it's fine with him to pick something.) Bringing up a skirt from the pile, and holding it out in front of himself for a moment, decides that it would probably be more flattering for Yamato, and perhaps more comfortable too in its simplicity.]
Is this one alright with you?
