All things that are vital for survival, yes, food and warm clothing and - these really weird little trinkets on display in front of the shops. Kaoru isn't much interested in the shiny baubles and toys and street foods, but does stop in front of a display that's selling mandolin slicers. Of course, they're FROM THE FUTURE (to this punk who's a Bakumatsu ye olde, anyway), so it just looks like a useless chunk of plastic with a blade barely protruding out through the front.]

To be honest, I'm not proficient in any weaponry. It wasn't a necessity for me to learn the martial arts at home, so I never picked up much beyond the basics... I wouldn't mind learning a little more here, though.
